61's Tanker Shuttle

Tuesday, March 22, 2016  Training for Tuesday night was assisting Sta. 61 with tanker shuttle. Tanker 35 shuttled water to Scenic Ridge new site on Horseshoe Road and Engine 35-1 along with Engine 31-1 had the fill site at the pond behind Rutters. Thanks to sta. 61 for inviting us.


     



 

Shop Fire

Wednesday, March 16, 2016   Building fire Tuesday March 15th 2016   Sta. 35 were dispatched for building fire at 356 Turtle Hill Road. Caller reported 30 x 60 building on fire with equipment inside. Engine 35-1 arrived on scene with working fire and put 2 line in service. Tanker 35 arrived and supplied Engine 35-1 and the crew along with Squad 35-1 crew assisted the Eng crew. Fire started in the shop area and was held in the front half of the building.

Thursday, March 3, 2016   Tanker 35 transfers with Rescue 61 at sta. 39  While 39 is on working fire.

Covered Bridge Rd Crash

Friday, February 12, 2016  Friday evening at 20:34 Sta. 35 was dispatched for MVA unknown injury. Chief 35 arrived with car down the embankment almost in the creek. Driver had self extricated and was not injured. Sta. 35 assisted towing company with vehicle removal.

Regrets To Announce Passing Of Life Member

Sunday, January 3, 2016  Farmersville Fire Co. regrets to announce the passing of Lifetime Member Menno P King. Menno was a member of Farmersville Fire Co for 36 years and Bareville Fire Co for many years. Menno was still very active with fundraising events with both companies. Menno passed away unexpectedly Sunday night. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

   


 

Horse and buggy in creek

Thursday, December 31, 2015  The last call for year on Thursday 12/31/15 Horse buggy got spooked by trash truck coming through one lane bridge. Horse and buggy darts down steep bank beside bridge and ends up in creek. Thankfully none of the 3 occupants were injured. Crews helped remove horse and buggy from creek and sent them on the way again.


     



 

Tuesday training

Tuesday, December 29, 2015  Tonight training consisted of forklift rolled over with entrapment. Crews worked on stabilization and lifting with airbags to remove patient.
