Thursday, April 23, 2015  Farmersville new gear arrived! Five members received new gear Tuesday night. Price per set including coat,pants,helmet,gloves,hood, etc. comes to $2622.00 per set. Remember month of May is FUND DRIVE month.

Dumspter Fire

Wednesday, April 8, 2015 20:10 Wednesday night Sta. 35 was dispatched for an unknown type fire. 35 crews arrived and found a large dumpster fire impining on the building.  And requested a building assignment. Eng. 35-1 deployed a 2" line tanker 35 supplied Eng. 35-1 and checked for extension into building. There was no extension into the building. The homeowner was not at home at the time.


     



 

CO ALARM-WITH BLS

Friday, April 3, 2015  Good Friday Sta 35 was dispatched for CO Alarm. Eng.35-1 arrived got reading 174 ppm in living room and 185 ppm in upstairs. Command 35 1 BLS class 2 to check 2 adults and 1 child exposed to it all morning. Crews found coal stove not venting properly and ventilated the dwelling. Just a reminder CO alarm save lives.

Eng. Co. Training

Saturday, March 14, 2015  Saturday March 14th 8 members participated in Eng. Co. training with Sta 15 at LCPSTC. The day was spent working on Engine company skills. Ephrata, Akron, and  Martindale also particpated in the drill. Thanks to Sta. 15 for inviting us.


     



 

Sta. 35 Training

Tuesday, March 10, 2015  Sta. 35 training at a mobile home set for demolition. Crews did search and rescue along with hoseline advancements throughout the rainy evening.


     



 

Assisting Sta 3

Friday, February 20, 2015 10:44 Assisting  sta 3 on Building 1A @ 920 Glenwood Drive Ephrata Township. Tanker 35 and Eng. 35-1 went enroute with 14 personel. Fire was located around chimney in truck shed. Eng. 35-1 crew assisted Eng. 3-1 crew with opening around the chimeny.
