Regrets To Announce Passing Of Life Member

Sunday, January 3, 2016  Farmersville Fire Co. regrets to announce the passing of Lifetime Member Menno P King. Menno was a member of Farmersville Fire Co for 36 years and Bareville Fire Co for many years. Menno was still very active with fundraising events with both companies. Menno passed away unexpectedly Sunday night. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.



Horse and buggy in creek

Thursday, December 31, 2015  The last call for year on Thursday 12/31/15 Horse buggy got spooked by trash truck coming through one lane bridge. Horse and buggy darts down steep bank beside bridge and ends up in creek. Thankfully none of the 3 occupants were injured. Crews helped remove horse and buggy from creek and sent them on the way again.



Tuesday training

Tuesday, December 29, 2015  Tonight training consisted of forklift rolled over with entrapment. Crews worked on stabilization and lifting with airbags to remove patient.

Farmersville Fire Co. regrets to announce the passing of Lifetime member and Fire Police Captain Daniel Martin. Daniel was a member of Farmersville Fire Co. for 41 years. Daniel passed away unexpectedly at home. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Wednesday, October 14, 2015  Monday afternoon crash on cider mill road.




Wednesday, October 7, 2015  The tuggers placed 3rd at New Holland Fair tug of war with assistance of several of West Earl firefighters. Thanks to West Earl Fire Co. The team placed 3rd with being the lightest team in competition weighing at 1730 lbs. The weight limit is 1950 lbs. and double elimination.



Tuesday nights training

Wednesday, September 30, 2015  Training for the night consisted of Tanker shuttle at sta 3 and Eng. Co. ops on a mobile home set for demolition on E. Farmersville road. Eng. 35-1 ran an OC alarm call while at the mobile home training.



Mobile Home Fire

Saturday, September 26, 2015 07:44 At 07:44 this morning Sta. 35 and mutual aid companies were dispatched for a mobile home on North Shirk Road. Deputy 35 arrived with smoke showing and reported a working fire. Eng. 35-1 went en route with 7 personel followed by Tanker 35 with 7 personel. Eng. 35-1 arrived split crews. Ventilated and advanced a 1 3/4" line found a working fire in the kitchen. Tanker 35 supplied Eng. 35-1 and advanced a 2" smooth bore backup line. Squad 35's crew assisted with overhaul. Truck 39 assisted with ventilations upon their arrival. 



Nolt Propane Connection Tour

Wednesday, September 9, 2015  Training for Tuesday was touring 2 local businesses. Crews toured Nolt's Propane Connections and Cozy Cabins.



Eng. Co.Transfer to Sta. 10

Tuesday, August 25, 2015  Today at 13:00 Engine 35-1 was tranfered to fire sta. 10 Marietta Boro. After Eng. 43-1 (Gordonville) and Eng. 54-1 (Lampeter) moved into the scene. While sta. 10 and surrounding companies worked an industrial building fire. Eng. 35-1 returned around 17:00 hours.
