Quick Response Service
The Farmersville Quick Response Service was started in 1995. Squad 3-5 functions as the QRS vehicle. The purpose of the QRS is to provide the community with a rapid response prior to the arrival of EMS units. The QRS service will assist in these ways:
- Treat the signs and symtoms of the patient and provide basic life support (CPR & AED) if needed.
- Give incoming EMS units more detailed information about the patient condition and location of incident.
- Prepare the patient for transport.
- Help EMS personel load the patient for transport.
